These Boarding Terms and Conditions form a legal agreement between you (the pet owner) and P4PET governing the use of our pet boarding services. By submitting a booking request, paying a deposit, or using our boarding services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
All boarding services are subject to the policies and operational guidelines of P4PET under applicable Indian jurisdiction.
Booking Confirmation
- A boarding booking is considered confirmed only after the required deposit payment has been received.
- The remaining balance must be paid at the beginning of the boarding stay unless otherwise agreed.
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable once a booking is confirmed.
- Provisional bookings are not held for more than 3 days without deposit payment or confirmation.
- All bookings must be made directly through P4PET. Clients agree not to arrange boarding privately with staff or caregivers outside the official booking process.
Boarding Requirements
- All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea, tick, and worm treatments before arrival.
- Proof of vaccination may be requested at check-in.
- Pets must arrive in a clean and groomed condition.
- Minimum boarding duration is 2 business days, and minimum stay requirements during peak seasons may vary.
- A pre-boarding meeting or trial stay may be required to ensure compatibility and comfort.
Pet Information and Owner Responsibility
- Owners must provide accurate and complete information regarding their pet’s behavior, medical history, dietary needs, and special care requirements.
- Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate termination of boarding without refund.
- Aggressive pets or pets showing unsafe behavior toward people or other animals may be refused or removed from boarding services.
You confirm that:
- You are the legal owner of the pet.
- Your pet has not suffered from contagious illness within the last 30 days.
- Your pet is non-aggressive and safe to handle.
Behaviour and Safety
If a pet becomes aggressive, destructive, uncontrollable, or unsafe during boarding:
- P4PET reserves the right to transfer the pet to an alternative boarding facility or kennel for safety reasons.
- Any transfer or additional care charges will be payable by the owner.
- Boarding fees already paid will not be refunded.
- Owners agree to pay for any damages caused by their pet to property, equipment, or other animals.
Pets may socialize with other dogs under supervision, and owners acknowledge and accept associated risks.
Boarding Care and Liability
P4PET will provide care with professional attention and reasonable safety standards. However:
- We cannot guarantee prevention of illness, stress-related conditions, injury, or behavioral changes.
- P4PET is not liable for loss, injury, illness, or death except where caused by proven negligence.
- Dogs may be transported for walks, veterinary visits, or emergencies, and owners accept associated risks.
Feeding and Personal Items
Owners agree to provide:
- Sufficient food for the entire stay
- Approved treats and medications (with written instructions)
- Bedding, leash, toys, or comfort items if required
If insufficient food is supplied, P4PET may purchase additional food at the owner’s expense.
Veterinary Care
If a pet becomes ill or injured during boarding:
- P4PET or assigned caregivers may seek veterinary treatment when necessary.
- Medical decisions may be made in the pet’s best interest if owners cannot be contacted immediately.
- Owners remain fully responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.
- Emergency contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
If a pet causes injury to another animal or person, the owner accepts responsibility for all related costs, including veterinary or medical expenses.
Pick-Up and Abandonment Policy
- Early collection of pets does not qualify for a refund.
- Late pick-ups may incur additional boarding charges.
- If a pet is not collected within 14 days after the agreed return date and all reasonable contact attempts fail, P4PET reserves the right to arrange rehoming or alternative care for the pet.
Health and Hygiene Requirements
- Dogs must be treated for fleas and worms within two weeks before boarding.
- Any infestation discovered during boarding will be treated at the owner’s expense, including environmental treatment if required.
- Owners must inform P4PET if a female dog is in or expected to enter a heat cycle during boarding.
Medication and Special Care
All medications must be clearly labeled with written dosage instructions. Owners must inform P4PET of any medical changes before or during the stay.
Cancellation Policy for Boarding
If you cancel your boarding booking:
- Deposit payments are non-refundable.
- If no deposit has been paid, cancellation charges apply as follows:
- Cancellation within 1 month of booking date – 40% of total fee payable.
- Cancellation within 1 week of booking date – 60% of total fee payable.
- Cancellation within 24 hours – 100% of total fee payable.
Right to Refuse Service
P4PET reserves the right to refuse or terminate boarding services at any time if it is considered necessary for the safety, welfare, or operational interests of pets, staff, or facilities.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking boarding services with P4PET, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
